Hunting Accommodations
Alberta Native Guide Services offers hunts in three very distinctive areas of Northern Alberta and at a number of different times of the year. Because of this, accommodations vary from site to site.
Our spring bear hunts allow us to set up camp in a wilderness atmosphere. A basic list of requirements to be brought by the hunter is provided here. For your comfort and enjoyment, Alberta Native Guide Services provides large two-man tents, cots, ground sheets, lanterns and stoves for members of the hunts.
Our whitetail deer hunts and moose hunts are available in very different areas. The Jarvie area is roughly 1 1/2 hours north of the City of Edmonton. There you will find a fully modern main lodge with common living and dinning areas, washroom and shower facilities. Two fully insulated cabins, with lofts, are provided that sleep 6 comfortably. "Bed and Breakfast" accommodations are available at Saddle Lake which is roughly 1 1/2 hours east, northeast of the City of Edmonton. This not only provides the hunter with comfortable, friendly surroundings, but the company of people that have hunted this area all their lives. What better way to learn about the area and the prospects one will encounter!
We now use one retreat called shinning bank cabins. This is located near Edson, Alberta, and is a retreat with heated cabins, showers and home cooked meals. The other area we use is a cabin system on the property of one of my guides, in either location, the facilities are excellent.
