Alberta Whitetail Deer HuntingFor years, we in Alberta have been saying we have the biggest white-tail deer in the world. In order to successfully hunt large white tail deer, three conditions must be met: GO to an area where large deer range.
I tell all my hunters at the start of the hunt that if there is something that they are having a problem with to let me know as soon as possible so it can be resolved. Notifying us about a problem after the hunt does not solve the issue. We were prepared for the 2006 November Whitetail hunting season as all my hunting blinds have been built for comfort in the cold. Not only was it the coldest year in some time, it was the most successful. The deer were moving everywhere in order to eat more to keep their body temperature up. Out of 42 hunters, only four went home without killing a buck, but all had the opportunity at something 140 or bigger. The record book will indicate that the majority of Alberta trophy deer are taken after the middle of November, so I highly recommend that you hunt after this time. Cold makes the herd feed and the rut is usually after November 15th. I have allocation in four very good zones that make it possible for me to offer two hunts of six days each in a good place in prime time.
Mule deer are present in Zone 328 and 339, so if the hunter gets his white-tail deer early, he could get a second deer on the same hunt. The only cost would be a license fee of $1,000.00, available from the outfitter prior to or during the hunt. (Provided Mule deer allocation is available.)

To arrange a whitetail deer hunt, moose hunt or black bear hunt, if possible, please contact me by phone so I can discuss the hunts personally and provide you with a list of references: Ken Steinhauer Price List White Tail Deer
Hunting in Alberta gives the best opportunities to sight and shoot a trophy whitetail deer. First, we can hunt one half hour before and after daylight, and, further, we can hunt on private land, with permission, as well as government land. Black Bear Hunting
Alberta, Canada is renowned for its abundant black bear population. We offer wolf and coyote hunting during the black bear hunt as well. Moose
Hunting moose in November is best as the moose are in better shape and the meat is much better than when the moose are in the rut. In most of the areas we hunt moose, we also have allocations for mule deer, black bear, whitetail deer, wolf, and coyote. VIEW OUR Our Friends: Raphael's Mucho Loco Sportfishing |
