Hunting Areas

Alberta Native Guide Service is very excited to announce that they have the exclusive commercial outfitting rights to over 77,000 acres of the Saddle Lake Indian Reserve!

Alberta Native Guides Hunting AreaSaddle Lake Reserve is roughly 1 1/2 hours drive Northeast of Edmonton and is one of the best natural topographies in Alberta for Whitetail Deer. The Reserve is bordered on the south by one f the largest river valleys in the province, the North Saskatchewan River Valley. This combined with a good concentration of prime agricultural development that produces coarse grains and alfalfa, it practically spells deer!

1998 marked the first time this reserve has opened up to commercial outfitters and ANGS has the exclusive rights! Over 7 1/2 miles of the terrain border the North Saskatchewan River giving the hunter unrivaled opportunities for a trophy of a lifetime! There are few areas that offer this combination with the added attraction of light hunting pressure. This is practically Virgin hunting territory, it has never been available commercially!

Alberta Native Guides Hunting AreaANGS personally owns over 1000 acres of the area but has complete commercial access to most of the remaining 76,000 acres! Our hunts are arranged for November and last 10 days each! If you are serious about trophy Whitetail, this is one of the opportunities of the hunting season. Space is limited so booking this hunt well in advance is a must. Booking are available now for 2000 as well.

Reserves have a complete control over the use of the land and access, and as it hasn't been open to commercial outfitters, it has been hunted by primarily just the residents of the area. As most of our guides are local to the areas we hunt, they have that special knowledge of the area and animal habits. If you have ever thought of taking what you thought would be the ultimate Hunting in Alberta Canada experience, well perhaps this is what you have been waiting for!

Alberta Native Guides Hunting AreaSaddle Lake is a hunters dream with great topography for deer including over 7 1/2 miles (12 km) of river front , beautiful surroundings, modern accommodation, and some fantastic opportunities for a trophy to be proud of. Of course, Alberta Native Guide Service has a reputation for treating their clients well. Remember also, that once you have taken your trophy, the hunt isn't over. ANGS also includes coyote and wolf hunts in their packages. Fishing is also available with the just the additional cost of the license.
