For years, we in Alberta have been saying we have the biggest white-tail deer in the world. In order to successfully hunt large white tail deer, three conditions must be met:

What most people sell is a whitetail deer hunt I sell a 6 day hunt, the difference being is that on a white tail hunts the hunt is over when you kill the deer. I have mule deer as well as some moose in most of my areas so for the price of a licence the hunter can keep on hunting after he kills his buck or if he dose not want to buy a another lic he can hunt wolf and coyout for nothing. The point is that you will hunt for the full six days.

The main problem we have is a hunter seeing the buck he should be shooting on the first or second day and passing. I think they are concerned that if they kill that buck they will be done hunting, and in most camps that would be the case.I want you to shoot the deer you want when you see it and then we can do other things. In most of my areas I have mule deer and some moose and if that are available I will let the hunter hunt either a mule deer or a moose for the price on the lic.. ( $400.00} or if there is only a short time remaining in his hunt we will take him hunting wolves and coyotes for free. I feel that I have been paid for a six day hunt and that is what I will provide.

We are always well prepared for all kinds of weather conciliations. You need not the be concerned about the cold in fact we want it cold. the colder the better ( the deer have to feed more in the cold} all our blinds are heated. We have blinds on stands as well as on the ground and most are portable, in any event they are comfortable and warm. We put up the blinds in the same areas year after year on or near feeding areas that have proved productive in the past. The bottom line is I give you a very good guide that is very formillar with the area and we put you in a place that the deer frequent and if you come in the last two weeks of Nov. good things will happen.

Hunt Area

We use four (4) distinct areas in the Province of Alberta. Zone 506, Zone 505, Zone 339, and Zone328. Two are privately owned farm land, where we utilize local guides, who in some cases are landowners themselves. This means the guides are very familiar the habit of the deer and good relations within the community makes it easier to get access to their neighbor’s land. In many instances, we have sole access to hundreds of acres of prime hunting terrain. The other is Government owned land in extremely remote areas, where oil companies searching for petroleum created a network of roads and clearings. The clearings have become oasis’s from seeded to grasses and clover. The remoteness of these areas result in little hunting, thereby producing some of the biggest bucks in Alberta. To offer optimum opportunity, each guide takes two (2) hunters per week. We already know big deer are in the areas before guides are assigned a client.

Mule deer are present in Zone 328 and 339, so if the hunter gets his white tail deer early, he could get a second deer on the same hunt. The only cost would be a license fee of $1,000.00, available from the hunting outfitter prior to or during the hunt. (Provided Mule deer allocation is available.)

This Alberta whitetail hunting is fit for a King with all of our hunters staying motels, bed and breakfasts or truck stops where the food is good and the service is better.
